Timberlast™ composite decking is an engineered deck board made by the extrusion of wood waste 60% and recycled HDPE 35%. It looks feels and works like timber, but this deck does not rot, split or splinter, is slip resistant in both wet and dry conditions, and resists penetrating stains.
It is environmentally friendly with recycled timber fibre and HDPE being used. Also it is moisture, mildew and termite resistant and great around wet areas, such as pools and spas.
The No Maintenance Deck never needs painting, staining or sealing and comes with a 10 year limited warranty.
It is a solid board and coloured right through, and with the brushed surface, if scratched it is easily repaired, not like many other composites.
Timberlast™ deck uses a concealed clip system that ensures no nails or screws can be seen on the deck surface. This means there are no nails to be continually punched down.
The boards are 5.8m x 140mm x 20mm and come in two colours, driftwood, and redwood, with Screening/fascia 15 x 18 x 4.8m to suit.
Timberlast™ Decking has a A/S slip rating of R11 and can be used in commercial applications.
It has been used for council board walks, schools and a public water park, plus private homes.
It gives the look of natural timber without the upkeep, and stands out against other composites.
Timberlast™ Decking is comparable in price to Merbau and other timbers, when you take in there is no added cost of fixings, oiling and time to install, as with Merbau and other timbers. There is no ongoing cost of oiling each year.
